How we find discount NBA tickets
We take the cheapest available seat for each upcoming regular-season game in our own listings, then calculate each team’s average get-in price. Home games are compared only with that team’s home games; road games only with that team’s road games. A game appears here when its get-in price is at least 15% lower than the matching average. The game itself is included in that average, and we require at least three priced games in the group.
The dollar amount and percentage on each card show the gap from that average—not a coupon, a reduction from face value, or the price of an equivalent seat at another game. These are all-in listing prices with no fees. Unpriced games, finished games, preseason, playoffs and unconfirmed matchups are excluded. Regular-season NBA Cup group games may qualify.
This is a living list: games can enter or leave as available seats and prices change. We reuse the same current inventory as our team schedules and NBA Ticket Index, rather than a fixed promotional price list.
Why might these games be cheaper?
The night and the matchup
Weeknight tipoffs, less in-demand opponents and a quieter stretch of the schedule can draw fewer buyers than rivalry games or weekend dates.
More seats on the market
Sellers compete for buyers. A larger supply of resale seats—or an inexpensive seat becoming available—can bring the get-in price down.
Team form and player news
Standings, recent results, injuries and possible rest can affect demand. A lower price is not evidence that a particular player will sit.
The average includes premium games
A few high-demand matchups can lift a team’s average. A game below that average may simply be a more affordable date, not a recent price drop.
These are possible explanations, not verified causes for an individual game. Seat location, quantity and delivery timing vary by listing; check the available tickets before buying.
